Frank Bruckmann’s work was showcased  in “Local Color,” a solo exhibit of his oil paintings, at the Island Inn on Monhegan Island.  The invitational show was on display from May 22 to October 11, 2015.

Frank Bruckmann studied at the Ducret School of Art in New Jersey, the Art Students League in New York, and the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris. A resident of New Haven, CT, Bruckmann paints on Monhegan for several weeks each year, and spent the winter of 2010-11 on the island, intensively painting the Monhegan landscape in every possible kind of winter weather and light.
