Bradley Hendershot is primarily a painter of coastal Maine and rural Pennsylvania – regions that he knows well, and that have special meaning for him. Primarily working in watercolor and drybrush, Brad paints with an intense devotion to realistic detail while at the same time using artistic license for the sake of composition and to evoke a certain feeling or mood in the viewer. He is a signature member of the American Society of Marine Artists, the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society, & Philadelphia Water Color Society. His work appears in public and private collections nationwide and around the world, including the collections of MBNA, Bank of Delaware, & the University of Delaware. He exhibits widely in Maine, Delaware, NJ, and Pennsylvania, and each summer on Monhegan Island.
