Dylan Metrano

Dylan Metrano started paper-cutting about ten years ago, inspired by the work of paper-cutting artists Jad Fair and Nikki McClure.

Over time, he has developed his own style, influenced by the architecture and natural landscapes of his summer home on Monhegan Island, Maine, and the bright colors and patterns found in wildlife. All of Dylan’s art is cut from paper with an X-acto knife, and carefully layered.

He has designed numerous album covers, book covers, posters, and logos.

Dylan spends half of each year traveling with his band Tiger Saw.

Dylan is a member of the Newburyport Art Association and the Rockport Art Association, and a co-founder of the Free Art Show.
